About Our Founder
Exie Paul Simon
July 29, 1929 - July 21, 1994
The founder of Triangle Community Outreach, Exie, was often affectionately called the Mother Teresa of Port Arthur, Texas. She had a heart of gold that cared for many who had no gold. She chose as the motto for Triangle Community Outreach the following scripture:
"For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in the land."
Deuteronomy 15:11
